The company
Paladeri manufactures spiral-wound composite pipes in galvanised steel and polyethylene, and the systems derived from them, at Villadose in the province of Rovigo.
About Paladeri
Paladeri is 50% owned by a listed foreign multinational and 50% by the Cirino Pomicino family, active in the construction market for over 150 years.
The company has developed a technology originating in Japan, and now also widespread in the United States, to produce the PALADEX pipe: a spiral-wound composite pipe in galvanised steel and polyethylene, with internal diameters from 250 mm to 3000 mm, in stiffness classes SN 4, SN 8, SN 12, SN 16, SN 20 and above.
The pipe is used in sewerage networks, rainwater drainage, irrigation networks, tunnel ventilation, embankment crossings, single-piece and modular underground storage tanks, and stormwater detention tanks.
Research and development
The production process is constantly evolving. The Biadhesive Bonding Process (BBP) bonds steel and polyethylene continuously, and the coupling joint system is patented.
Having verified the value of the PALADEX pipe, including during installation, the Italian National Council of Engineers (Consiglio Nazionale degli Ingegneri) has endorsed its technical and scientific seminars. The company works with universities and accredited laboratories on testing materials and jointing systems.
The plant
At the Villadose plant, the pipes are extruded, wound and welded into pipe lengths of up to 13.40 metres. A team of production operators and qualified welders manufactures manholes, bends, tees, tanks and special fittings to drawing at the plant.
The registered office is in Naples and the warehouse in Arzano.
