At its Villadose plant (Rovigo), Paladeri manufactures spiral-wound composite pipes in galvanised steel and polyethylene compliant with UNI 11434, with internal diameters from 250 to 3000 mm and stiffness classes up to SN 20.

The PALADEX pipe wall
The PALADEX pipe is produced by continuous helical winding of an omega-profiled galvanised steel strip, fully embedded between two layers of high-density polyethylene.
The steel, with an elastic modulus around 200 times higher than that of polyethylene, provides the ring stiffness; the polyethylene protects the steel from corrosion and ensures a smooth internal surface that resists abrasion and chemical attack.
Combining the two materials makes it possible to reach class SN 20 with low weight, a smaller external diameter and less raw material for the same performance.

Weight comparison
For the same diameter and ring stiffness, the PALADEX DN 1200 SN 8 pipe weighs 70 kg/m on average. The lower weight means lower transport costs, lighter lifting equipment and shorter installation times.

Design
The Paladeri technical department supports designers, public bodies and contractors in sizing pipelines, tanks and reservoirs. Hydraulic and structural calculation software and BIM models of the PALADEX system are available online.
Certificates and tests
Pipes compliant with UNI 11434 with IIP marking, ISO 9001 quality system, certified recycled content and compliance with the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM).
Technical conferences
Together with the Orders of Engineers, universities and RINA, Paladeri promotes technical conferences on systems for the integrated water cycle, awarding CPD credits.
