PALADEX pipelines
PALADRAIN drainage pipes
Slotted steel and polyethylene pipes that draw excess water from specific soil layers: ground consolidation, groundwater lowering, drainage of landslide masses.
- Perforations
- in the groove between the steel windings
- Installation
- sub-horizontal in trenches or vertical in wells
Application
Suitably slotted PALADEX pipes are used in drainage trenches and in systems for diverting or collecting water: wherever ground needs to be consolidated, the groundwater regime modified or water drained away from a landslide body.
The perforations are located in the groove between the steel coils: water enters the pipe without carrying soil with it, so the ground is consolidated. The water flows to a collection point in the case of sub-horizontal pipes, or into a well in the case of vertical pipes.
Sub-horizontal drains serve road, railway, airport, agricultural, building and public green-space works; vertical pipes form wells for domestic, agricultural or public use.
