Steel-reinforced spiral pipes: the UNI 11434 standard
With the publication of UNI 11434, Italy is the first country in Europe to adopt a national standard for steel-reinforced spiral-wound polyethylene pipes.
The technology
Combining high mechanical strength with low weight, the technology is becoming the preferred solution for large-diameter pipelines for stormwater and foul water collection and for tunnel ventilation systems.
