Bypass of a Pedemontana Lombarda tunnel

At Gorla Maggiore, in the province of Varese, one of the main collectors of the sewerage network was diverted over a tunnel of the Pedemontana Lombarda, then under construction.

The project

The defining feature of the project is the use of steel-reinforced spiral-wound high-density polyethylene pipelines: PALADEX DN 1600 pipes, light to handle and suited to installation in confined spaces, amid conflicts with underground utilities, sewerage and water mains.
